With an understanding of the requirement of these quality controls and an already established trading network, Syarikat Lee Tak is strategically positioned to not only connect consumer goods from overseas to the Brunei market but also understand the nature/type of consumer product that would appeal to the Brunei public.
In terms of distribution channels, Syarikat Lee Tak works on a selective basis with regards to the retailers that we would extend a distribution offer. Despite having a rich pool of retailers, we believe that it is more appropriate for certain product to be sold only at some retailers, with reference making particularly at higher end products. The company is doing so in order to safeguard the branding of the products that we carry as well as playing our role in aiding our retailers in defining the range they want to be established in.
We at Syarikat Lee Tak also realized the importance of marketing and the role it plays in making the distribution of our product a successful one. Exposing the public to a new product/brand once they become available is just as important as the selection process. This is typically achieved via a follow up marketing campaign that would take effect once a new product/brand ready for launched in the market. |
